WELSEEK (“we”, “us”) is a sourcing and quality-control company registered in Zhejiang, China. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use welseek.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and run your order.

  • Contact details you submit through our forms: name, work email, company, country, phone or WhatsApp number if you provide one.
  • Enquiry content: product descriptions, quantities, target prices, specifications, drawings and any files you send us.
  • Order data: invoices, packing lists, shipping documents, inspection reports and correspondence relating to your orders.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring source, collected through server logs and, where you consent, analytics cookies.

2. Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
  • To source, inspect, ship and document your order.
  • To meet legal, tax and customs obligations in China and in the destination country.
  • To improve the website and understand which pages are useful.

3. What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not share your drawings, artwork or supplier information with factories other than those working on your order. We do not add you to a marketing list without a separate, explicit opt-in.

4. Who we share data with

Only where necessary to perform the service: the factory or factories producing your order; freight forwarders and carriers; customs brokers; accredited testing laboratories; and our email, hosting and accounting providers. Each is bound by confidentiality and processes data only on our instruction.

5. International transfers

Our operations are in China and our servers are hosted in the United States. If you are in the EEA or the UK, transfers outside those regions rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard. Contact us for a copy of the relevant mechanism.

6. How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become orders are deleted after 24 months. Order records, invoices and shipping documents are kept for ten years, as required by Chinese accounting and customs rules. Analytics data is retained for 14 months.

7. Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working and remember your form progress. Analytics cookies are set only after you accept them, and you can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies for this site.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or request a portable copy. Email privacy@welseek.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to complain to your local supervisory authority.

9. Security

Access to order data is limited to the project team. We use encrypted transfer, access-controlled storage and two-factor authentication on administrative accounts. We will notify you without undue delay if a breach affects your data.
